Around the office, we called it "The Menu Wedding." Not because anyone was walking down the aisle, but because after one bite, we were convinced our guests would be ready to commit.

At Artcaffé, every menu tells a story. This season, that story begins on the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean and finds its way to the heart of a Kenyan winter.

On the evening of 24th July 2026, Artcaffé opened its doors to media personalities, influencers, corporate partners, and our loyal Rhapta Road guests to celebrate the arrival of our newest seasonal menu with an immersive experience of flavour, discovery, and Mediterranean warmth.

A Passport to the Mediterranean, No Boarding Pass Required

Twice a year, Artcaffé refreshes its menu, introducing new flavours inspired by cuisines from around the world. It's our way of keeping the dining experience exciting, giving our guests something new to discover while staying true to the quality and hospitality they've come to expect.

This winter, the Mediterranean takes centre stage.

Think vibrant herbs, smoky grills, bright citrus notes, wholesome wraps, perfectly seasoned skewers, and comforting dishes that prove winter food doesn't have to be heavy to warm the soul.

If sunshine had a flavour, we'd like to think this would be it.

Setting the Scene

The venue was transformed into a slice of the Mediterranean.

Golden lemons, lush green foliage, and warm earthy accents created an inviting atmosphere that felt effortlessly elegant, proof that sometimes all life gives you is lemons, and that's exactly enough.

The evening wasn't designed as a formal dinner. Instead, it was a culinary journey.

Guests sampled bite-sized portions of the new menu, thoughtfully presented in miniature tasting boats, allowing them to explore a variety of dishes, from freshly prepared wraps and flame-grilled skewers to several other additions making their debut on the menu.

Every bite was an invitation to discover something new.

While the food took centre stage, the true stars worked quietly behind the scenes.

Led by Chef Jyoti and Parool, the culinary team meticulously prepared each dish while ensuring every member of the service team understood the inspiration, ingredients, and story behind every plate.

Because exceptional hospitality isn't just about serving food, it's about serving knowledge, confidence, and memorable experiences.

More Than a Menu Launch

A Mediterranean celebration wouldn't be complete without entertainment.

Throughout the evening, guests were captivated by an extraordinary belly dancer whose graceful movements, intricate choreography, and illuminated wings transformed the venue into an immersive cultural experience.

Meanwhile, our resident DJ curated the perfect soundtrack, seamlessly carrying guests from one conversation, and one course, to the next.

The drinks flowed just as beautifully. Curated by our very own Walter and his masterful team of bartenders. 

From carefully selected Artcaffé wines to handcrafted cocktails, refreshing mocktails, and everything in between, every sip was designed to complement the evening's vibrant flavours.

The Best Reviews Are the Ones You Hear Across the Room

One of the greatest joys of launching a new menu is watching guests experience it for the very first time.

The conversations around the room quickly shifted from curiosity to recommendation.

Favourite dishes were debated.

New discoveries were shared.

Second tastings became inevitable.

For us, that's always the clearest sign that we've created something worth returning for.
